History

Design Centre (NQ) was started in 2002 as a drafting business for the Stainton building company. In late 2004, Design Centre_nq was formed into a building design company in its own right. We continue to specialize in unique house designs. Much of our experience has been with dealing with difficult sites.

Since inception Design Centre has been well rewarded in the building industry, receiving the Townsville and North Queensland Designer of the year twice, and in 2006 being awarded at national level with the HIA Australian Residential Building Designer of the year award.
